Life in Kuala Lumpur

Living in an exciting and vibrant multi-cultural city

Kuala Lumpur is the capital city of Malaysia and it is a city of the old and the new, mixing gleaming skyscrapers and colonial architecture. It is a vibrant and busy city with shopping malls, hotels, bars and restaurants. Travel is easy and convenient and visits to the stunning beaches and beautiful islands, such as Pulau Perhentian and Pulau Redang are easy. The tax-free island of Langkawi is an hour’s flight and a trip to Penang is the same distance. KL is a great base for travel around South East Asia.

KL has many parks and green spaces to enjoy and has many famous landmarks including the Petronas Twin Towers, the Batu Caves, Central Market and Petaling Street. Food is aplenty and a huge variety of cuisines are available from the Hawker Stalls to fine dining, it is all available.

Surrounding Charterhouse Malaysia are the popular, cosmopolitan residential areas of Desa Sri Hartamas, Mont Kiara, Publika, Solaris, Damansara Heights and Bangsar. All with their own shopping malls, restaurants, and communities. All are popular amongst locals and expatriates alike and all are vibrant places to live.

Friendly and fun, Malaysia is a great place to live.
